FMCSA updates ELD Web Service Security Settings
In order to meet the FMCSA's ELD Web Service Security Settings and keep customers compliant, GPSTab has made the required updates to its app.
The FMCSA recently updated its ELD Web Service Security Settings to meet cybersecurity requirements.
The updated ELD Web Service Security Settings will officially take effect on June 26, 2021, and the agency has asked ELD providers to make the appropriate changes in order to connect successfully and complete ELD data transfers going forward.
ELD providers are entrusted by customers to make the necessary updates to keep their software working optimally. Some providers fail to make these changes, leading to potential violations for their customers due to having a non-compliant system or having their system down for prolonged periods.
GPSTab always makes sure to take action as soon as possible, in an effort to continue providing our customers with a quality electronic logging device.
We’ve successfully completed the update as required by the FMCSA and are looking forward to the continued improvement of cybersecurity for our ELD customers.
